 romantic garden

The romantic garden is very similar to the cottage-garden. But there will be much more attention for details.
Characteristic are winding garden-walks made of flagstones or brick, which will lead the visitor via rose-arches, hedges, garden-gates, fences en all kinds of other 'camouflage' to unexpected spots en which will create curiousity and excitement and invite the visitor to explore.
There is a superabundance of flowering plants, shrubs and roses. Trees have an important rol, too.
On different (strategical) locations are cosy looking sitting-areas of natural looking garden-furniture and all over the place pottery filled with abundantly growing plants will be positioned as eye-catchers.
A natural looking pond can't be missed, as well as sculptures and ornaments.
The plant-beds will get the right amount of attention using a well-mawed lawn or fine gravel as a foreground.
The romantic garden needs quite some maintanance, but some weeds here and there or back maintanance will give extra charme to this type of garden.
